Hi, my name is T. Rakesh Patro, I come from Berhampur, Orrisa. For my graduation, I have completed B.Sc in Mathematics. I started liking this subject immediately after my 12th and thereafter went on to pursue mathematics as a core subject. But it was during my graduation days that I actually realised that my interests lie in understanding business and how the knowledge of risk will help me in handling the future of a business. 

I wanted to gain practical knowledge in this domain and wanted to enrol in a full-fledged program on risk management. During my research B.Sc Maths to PGDRM in Risk Management, I came across GRMI and found out that it is the only institute providing such a professional course after graduation that covers all aspects of the risk management course which is also known as the PGDRM course. 

I wanted to know more about this institute so I interacted with a few of the alumni and got to know that the curriculum provided by GRMI was more practical based which will help me to learn better about risk management courses, and this is exactly what I was looking for. Even the faculty here are industry experts themselves. Who understand the subjects to the core and this makes the classroom more interactive. I come from a non-commerce background and I think after the bridge programme everyone stood on the same page.  

We were guided to understand the basics before all the technical papers started. When it comes to copying up with the course, I believe that the more you discuss with your peers, the more you get an understanding of the course. Everyone will have different perceptions on a particular topic and getting different views on that particular topic will help in getting a better clarification on and every subject. 

So, I think I am having a good time at GRMI and pursuing PGDRM at GRMI is one of the best decisions that I have taken.
