Chendra Haasa Kuthadi(student) experience in and out of classroom 

Chendra Haasa Kuthadi experience at GRMI. We asked a handful of our students to reflect on their time at GRMI experience in and out of classroom so far and to answer a few questions we put to them. We hope that this series of Q&A gives you a sense of who they are and what they think of the institute. We hope it also provides a window into their academic and extracurricular lives. They all share a common love for GRMI and a shared desire to make a difference in the world.

What’s it like to be a part of the GRMI community?
– – I feel very proud to be a part of the GRMI family.

How did the admissions process go for you?
– – The admission process was quite good. I got an opportunity to clarify all the queries about the course pattern and etc. And I was satisfied with all the help that I got.

What is one fact concerning GRMI that everyone should be aware of?
– – GRMI’s way of practical teaching helps an individual relate to the problems in the future.

Why should one pursue a career in risk management?
– – A career in risk management is the most demanding skill for the industry right now. And after the pandemic Risk Management has emerged as the key requirement for each and every industry.

A must-read for every risk management student.
– – The individual should be in touch with the happenings around him. Like the happenings in each and every business.

What factors influenced your decision to enroll in this programme?
– – The course itself. Because it is a diversified one which helps me to know about all the sectors. And the corporate faculty, and also the feedback given by the alumni influenced me to enroll in this program.

What is the most efficient method of getting to the institute?
– – Practical & Logical thinking and good communication skills.

After class, what is your favorite thing to do?
– – The best place to chill after class is definitely the fifth floor, where most of us spend our time. The most favorite thing that I do after class is play foosball and Table Tennis with my friends.

In five years, where would you like to see yourself?
– – In the next five years, I would like to see myself as an IT Risk Professional in any of the Big 4 s.

Do you consider the campus to be diverse?
– – Yes, firstly students in our batch are from diverse backgrounds and all the students are also from various cultures and traditions which makes the campus very diverse.

Is there an active and helpful alumni network?
– – Yes the alumni network is very helpful, they are kind enough to clear our queries at any time.

What types of extra-curricular activities do you do on campus?
– – I am part of both the CSR Club and the Placement Club, so I am pretty much occupied with that. I also play foosball and table tennis with my batchmates whenever we have some spare time.

What drew your attention to the course and the institute?
– – The PGDRM course itself. Because it is a diversified one which allows me to know about all the aspects of risk management and the corporate industry in general. The corporate faculty that GRMI has also motivated me to join the institute. The feedback that I received from the alumni also influenced me to enroll in this risk management course at GRMI.

The most important factor would definitely be the demand for Risk Management Professionals in the industry. And GRMI offers one of the best job-oriented courses in Risk Management in the country.
