The Business Development Manager we are looking to hire shall help build GRMI’s Go To Market strategy, identify potential business partners in space of education, lead conversations for running corporate programmes and lead the team to execute strategies to build a robust and successful education Institute, pioneering in bringing the first ever Risk Management course in the world. The candidate will get an opportunity to express out of the box thinking, and develop new innovative sales channel for the institute to reach out to its target audience, globally.

GRMI is a start-up initiative coached and mentored by industry icons including Mr Subodh Bhargava (Chairman of Tata Communications Limited, GlaxoSmithKline Healthcare Limited), Mr Mukesh Butani (Non-Executive Chairman of BMR Advisors), Mr Mohit Lal (Chairman & CEO of Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail), Mr Afzal Modak (Former Transitions Leader for GE Global Operations) and academicians to deliver programmes on risk management and create risk professionals. The Business Development Manager we are looking to hire shall help build GRMI’s Go To Market strategy, identify potential business partners in space of education, lead conversations for running corporate programmes and lead the team to execute strategies to build a robust and successful education Institute, pioneering in bringing the first ever Risk Management course in the world. The candidate will get an opportunity to express out of the box thinking, and develop new innovative sales channel for the institute to reach out to its target audience, globally.

Our ideal candidate is a passionate, innovative, entrepreneurial business development manager who has a great ability to connect with our target audience. Candidate should have experience in doing sales conversations and shall be open to limited travel and executing grass root level sales strategies. We are looking for self-motivated people with great communications skills (written and oral).

The candidate will report to one of the Directors of GRMI and will be based out of our state of the art campus in Sector 44, Gurgaon.

  • Monitor the competitive landscape / risk management education industry trends and identify opportunities to partner / collaborate
  • Identify and develop new sales / reach out channels to get maximum traction amongst the student base and working professionals.
  • Work back with Management team to identify all potential target customers / organization to promote our corporate programmes.
  • Support in developing pitch decks for client meetings.
  • Hold independent conversations and deliver pitches to corporates to expand visibility of our corporate programmes.
  • Implement rigorous follow up mechanism to track pipeline of corporate programmes,
  • Support in development of marketing collaterals for corporate and student programmes.
  • A Go Getter who is willing to stretch and lead Business Development initiatives in a start up environment
  • Self motivated to explore innovative ways of working and contributing to the success of the organization.
  • Quick Learner – open to understand and learn our offerings to be able to have a meaningful discussion with potential clients
