Dr. Ekta is a visiting faculty at Delhi School of Economics, FMS, and Global Risk Management Institute. She has published over 20 articles in reputed journals and received two Best Paper Awards at leading academic conferences under the University of Delhi.

  • Has published research articles in reputed journals, including “FNI: In Search of Relevance for Irrelevant Product” in the South Asian Journal of Business and Management Cases (Scopus Indexed) and “Cool Perspectives, Indian Cool and Branding” in the South Asian Journal of Business Studies (ABDC listed, Scopus Indexed).
  • Has published 5 chapters in books like Dynamic Perspectives on Globalization and Sustainable Business in Asia (IGI Global) and Handbook of Research on Managerial Practices and Disruptive Innovation in Asia (IGI Global), covering topics such as customer demographics, branding, ethnocentrism, and rule-breaking behaviors in business.
  • Led an ICSSR-sponsored research project on assessing healthcare quality across government, charitable, and private hospitals.
  • Served as Resource Person for AICTE- and IndiaMart-sponsored training programs at Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
  • Contributed six content modules to UGC’s e-PG Pathshala under MHRD’s NMEICT mission in the subject of Business Economics.
  • Provided consultancy to the Centre for New Perspectives, Delhi, for the revival of performing arts.
  • Conducted case teaching and writing workshops at various institutes including JIMS, RDIAS, VIPS, IMS, and ITS Ghaziabad.
  • Has participated in 15 Faculty Development Programmes, including UGC-sponsored refresher and orientation courses, ICT workshops by the University of Delhi, and FDPs on research tools, case writing, and e-content development across reputed institutions.
  • Has presented research papers at 22 national and international conferences, including events organized by the Institute of Management Studies, Society of Technical and Management Professionals, and the Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics.
  • Recipient of several Best Paper Awards for research on “Creating Sustainable Business through Innovative Marketing,” “Marketing in the 21st Century: Issues and Challenges,” and “Online Insurance Services: A Step Towards Sustainability,” reflecting strong academic and research excellence.
