Mr. Mark De Groot
- Mr. Mark De Groot serves as the Group Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at Trivium Packaging, where he leads global controllership, corporate finance, M&A projects, consolidated financial statements, technical accounting (IFRS), global tax accounting & reporting, and global treasury controllership. Based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and Riyadh, KSA, Mark brings over a decade of experience in financial leadership to his role.
- Previously, Mr. Mark held key positions at SABIC and GE, including General Manager of Global Controllership at SABIC and Global Controller at GE.
- With over 30 years of experience, he specializes in managing international controllership matters, financial statements, financial accounting (IFRS), transaction support for M&A activities and bond issuances, and acquisition accounting and other roles for multinational corporations.
- He is a board member of various SABIC entities, including SABIC Luxembourg Sarl and SABIC International Holdings BV. He is responsible for all International Controllership matters, Financial Statements and Financial Accounting (IFRS) matters at SABIC Luxembourg Group.
- He earned his Master's degree in Business Economics and Accounting from the University of Groningen.
