We are delighted on this Women’s Day to have such an inspiring woman, Ms. Sandhya Sriram, as a Guest of Honor. Ms. Sriram is the Vice President, Global Head of Audit and Risks at Wipro Enterprises. We are sure our students had a great learning experience.

Some key takeaways from the session:

1. Empathy is an important emotion; we need more of it in the corporate world. EQ is as important as IQ.
2. To be successful you should plan to do more than your job description or what is on your plate. Be curious and extend your influence beyond your immediate circle. You will get noticed and you will get rewarded besides the warm fuzzy feeling in your stomach.
3. There are no glass ceilings for anyone. You should know your limits. You can reach anywhere you want to however there are no free lunches. Be ready to invest or sacrifice to reach your goals.
4. To progress, we must make micro-steps to improve every day. There is no magic wand.
5. The Covid/pandemic has taught us the resilience to face the unexpected. Are we ready to face the VUCA world?
6. Covid has given us an opportunity to innovate. “Necessity is the mother of invention”.
7. Change is good, embrace it however make sure you make the change within your value system. Do not give up your values.
8. To be a good auditor you must find an opportunity to work in the business or at least do a project to understand the issue from the view/shoes of the auditee.
