About Mr. Agarwal

Mr. Manoj Agarwal is currently working as a Head of Internal Audit and Risk Management at one of the largest Indian footwear specialty retailer Metro Brands. He is a member of IIA’s International Audit Standards Board and a Governor at IIA Bombay Chapter since 2013. He has also established World Class Internal Audit Departments and aligned them with professional standards and management expectations. He has also implemented COSO ICF, Risk Management Policies, Risk Reporting Frameworks and Risk Mitigation Strategies. The specialisations include Internal Audits, Financial Audits, Internal Controls Design and Testing, MIS Design and Evaluation, Costing and Due Diligence.

The session

Mr. Manoj Agarwal conducted the session titled on the topic “Third Party Risk Management”. The speaker discussed in detail various facets of third-party risk in today’s dynamic business environment. The speaker also shared a spectrum of industry-wide experience and helped the students in realizing the importance of Third-Party Risk Management in mitigating vendor risk.

The speaker further discussed fraud examination, vendor due diligence, and risk mitigation strategies. The session ended with a detailed discussion on various questions from the audience which further helped the students in understanding the importance of third-party risk management.
