Things That You Should Know Before Opting for PGDRM/Joining GRMI

Advice from Alumni

Things that you should know before joining GRMI or opting for PGDRM

Agamya Sharma, PGDRM July’19-20

Internship: PepsiCo | Placement: PwC Risk Assurance

Through the experience that I had in GRMI during the 1-year duration, I can say that the Post Graduate Diploma in Risk Management (PGDRM) course is one of the best professional diploma courses after graduation.

  • It would demand your 24*7 attention towards it,
  • it would require a lot of your productive time,
  • it would require self-study,
  • and you will need to be up to date with all the current trends, all the major business trends or patterns you can see around you. It could be as general, it could be as hi-tech, it all depends on you, your interest, and your perspective.

Even though there’s a 100% placement assured* by GRMI and is one of the best job-oriented courses after graduation, in the end, it all depends on your performance and the skills that you acquired during the 1-year time. It also depends on your personality, your attitude in approaching certain things, in solving certain case studies, so you also have to be responsible and accountable for that, and in order to aid in all those little aspects, there are also subjects in the curriculum like business communication, which are specifically there to groom a person’s speaking skills, communication skills, personality skills and overall growth and development as an individual both professionally and personally. All these factors helped me a lot during my time at GRMI and after.
