Dibyadarshee Ray (Student) Experience In and Out of Classroom 

Dibyadarshee Ray experience at GRMIWe asked a handful of our students to reflect on their time at GRMI so far and to answer a few questions we put them. We hope that this series of Q&A gives you a sense of who they are and what they think of the institute and the Risk management course that GRMI offers. We hope it also provides a window into their academic and extracurricular lives. They all share a common love for GRMI and a shared desire to make a difference in the world.

How has your experience at Global Risk Management institute been so far?
Global Risk Management Institute and the PGDRM course have been phenomenal so far. It is a great opportunity to learn from some of the best thought leaders in the industry. I’ve been able to connect with some really great people, many of which I hope to work with in the future. I’ve also been able to present on a variety of topics and learn from others in the industry. 

Is the campus diverse in your opinion?
Yes! The campus is very well diverse, with students from all over India. It is very interesting to learn about the cultures of other students and to experience other ways of thinking and being in the world. 

What factors influenced your decision to enroll in this programme?
Course Structure, Praiseworthy Faculty, An active alumni system and Offline learning experience 

Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
Achieving my goals and progressing ahead in life. 

Why should one pursue a career in Risk Management in India?
Risk management career is one of the few professions that provide growth in a particular domain as well as a thorough understanding of business operations and processes.

After class, what is your favorite thing to do?
Grab delicious food. 

What kinds of extracurricular activities do you participate in while on campus?
Playing Table Tennis, Foosball and singing. 

Do you believe GRMI prepared you for a career in your field? 
Spot on.
