About Ms. Swati

With an experience of more than 24 years, Ms. Swati Pandey is a career bureaucrat representing India Post with experience in Atomic Energy and the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. Having profound knowledge in the sectors of risk management, e-commerce, logistics, HR policy formulation, social and financial inclusion, film production, and distribution, she is also an acclaimed filmmaker, felicitated with the prestigious National Films Award. 
 
Experienced in leading the formulation & implementation procedures of PUBLIC POLICY across departments, vis-à-vis Department of Posts, Department of Atomic Energy, and Ministry of I.T & Broadcasting 

About the session

Ms. Swati spoke about how she set up the Indian post branch in Kamathipura, Mumbai. And how she made sex workers over there enlighten upon financial savings by opening savings accounts. She also spoke about her difficulties in creating a branch in Kamathipura. Additionally, that branch now has 1100 savings accounts. It was upsetting to hear when she told the students that the women working there are at ease with their jobs while wanting their children to be away from that environment. She also informed us that the local youngsters lack valid identity documents. She sent letters and made phone calls to UIDAI officials in order to get Aadhar cards for them so they could register accounts with India Post.
