Mr. Mukesh Gupta is a Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) & Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with experience in internal audit, risk management, and financial management with banking & financial services industry. He is a Member Board of Governors, Institute of Internal Auditors, Delhi Chapter, currently working as a Director of Internal Audit in Deloitte with a specialty in a wide range of domains such as Internal control. Governance, Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and Private equity investment advisory.
About the session
Mr. Gupta, Director – Internal Audit at Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP, conducted a leadership session on “Curiosity and Critical thinking”. The discussion focused on the need for having a curious mindset in undertaking an Internal Audit exercise. The speaker from his rich experience discussed real-life case studies, wherein curiosity and critical thinking helped him to identify significant audit observations and helped the students draw parallels with their academic curriculum. The speaker through examples and anecdotes explained the need for having an inquisitive, analytical, and reasoning mindset and the impact it has on value creation.
The session was thoroughly driven by questions from the students where Mr. Gupta gave numerous educative examples to answer those questions.
