About Mr. Sachdeva

A Chartered Accountant (CA) and a Commerce graduate with over 17 years’ professional experience of working on Risk based internal and operational audits, Forensic reviews Fraud Investigations, Enterprise Risk Management and Development of SOPs Extensive experience in working with Technology, Trading, BPO, Manufacturing, Service, and Entertainment Industry.

Currently, managing the Internal Audit and Forensic mandate of Sony India covering all 24 branches and Head Office divisions through Co-sourcing model involving in house Internal Audit team and Co Auditors (Ernst & Young and Deloitte). Key member of Risk Management Committee at Sony India Pvt. Ltd.

The session

Mr. Sachdeva conducted the session titled on “Business Continuity Planning in the light of COVID-19”. The session helped the students in understanding the importance of Business Continuity Management (BCM) in an organisation. The speaker also discussed about criticality and the necessity of BCM in today’s dynamic business environment.

Mr. Sachdeva, through his lecture, also explained the best practice strategies to establish an efficient BCM framework in an organisation. The speaker also discussed about some critical audit practices around BCM framework.

The speaker also highlighted the role and relevance of Risk Professionals in establishing and improvising the BCM frameworks across organisations.

The session ended with a detailed discussion on various questions from the audience which further helped the students in understanding the importance of Business Continuity Management.
