SRIRAM R EXPERIENCE AT GRMI 

We asked a handful of our students to reflect on their time(experience) at GRMI so far and to answer a few questions we put to them. We hope that this series of Q&A gives you a sense of who they are and what they think of the institute. We hope it also provides a window into their academic and extracurricular lives. My experience at GRMI

What’s it like to be a part of the GRMI community?
– – GRMI community has been empowering me with various sessions and helping me think technically. It has been a great time so far mingling with people across the industry and getting to know the work culture.

How did the admissions process go for you?
– – Admission process was smooth with not much difficulty. The interviewer made me comfortable so I could respond with ease.

Why should one pursue a career in risk management?
– – A career in risk management in India is a developing and growing field giving countless opportunities with a challenging environment at work. It is not a typical or a monotonous job.

A must-read for every risk management student.
– – Getting things done the art of stress-free productivity by David Allen.

What factors influenced your decision to enroll in this programme?
– – Risk management careers are finding their way up the hill in the business world in recent years. It’s an ever-growing and evolving industry, bringing more opportunities to the table. Even though this field has tremendous scope, institutes/colleges offering risk management courses in India are very few. I wanted to have in-depth knowledge of all the aspects of risk management and hence chose this programme.

How would you define the GRMI faculty?
– – I would say they are very responsible, dedicated, and knowledgeable.

What is the most efficient method of getting to the institute?
– – Confidence, good communication skills, and a keen interest in risk management.

In five years, where would you like to see yourself?
– – I would love to see myself as a manager in a reputed consultant company.

What is the best way to summarize the enrollment process?
– – Smooth, responsive, transparent, and efficient.

Is there an active and helpful alumni network?
– – Yes ample network opportunities.

What drew your attention to the course and the institute?
– – Industry-oriented learning, networking opportunities, placement record, and the fact that it is like any other one-year MBA program.

Why did you decide to enroll in GRMI?
– – GRMI opens door to work in a challenging environment by educating us with relevant technical knowledge, and networking opportunities.
